Early Years

I was born a “Military Brat” and have traveled and lived all over the world.  I graduated from Mannheim American High School in Mannheim, Germany, where I was class president and decorated 3rd “All Europe” sports athlete.

Not being a good student, I hid my learning disability and dyslexia until it was finally unveiled, but not remedied.  After graduation, I attended South Carolina State University, and HBCU (Historically Black College or University), and Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee, where I was awarded a full a full scholarship for football.  During my undergrad years, I was placed on academic probation seven times, but with perseverance I later graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Education.  It was around this time that the young man who, as a kid, got in trouble for talking in class almost constantly, began to see that God’s gifts would make room for him. As my future unfolded, I found myself attending Lindenwood University, in St. Charles, Missouri, where I earned a Master’s Degree in Teaching, and Master’s Degree in Education Administration.  As Coach Hite, I have earned eight Life Coaching Certifications and I am pursuing a Doctorate in Christian Counseling at New Covenant Biblical College.  As my Dad reminded me: “HITE’S DON’T QUIT!!!
